Fifth Sino-German Environmental Forum

The registration for the 5. Sino-German Environmental Forum in Nanjing (China) will begin shortly. The German delegation led by the Federal Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, Mrs. Dr. Barbara Hendricks, is visiting Nanjing to attend the conference. The subject of this years conference constitutes an update for previous talks and centers around the question of how inclusive and sustainable growth can be achieved. Challenges and opportunities of the implementation will be discussed. Especially intriguing to follow will be the suggestions of the Chinese government officials. Proposed measures to reduce environmental hazards would mean harsh interventions. The conference will officially be opened at tonight’s welcome-dinner.
